Sky Dayton
A chance encounter with the Surfpark team on a windblown, miserable day at the Ranch lit Dayton's fire for the concept of high-quality surfing pools. Despite his passion for surfing and snowboarding, Dayton is best known for his success as founder of EarthLink, the largest independent ISP in the USA, where he still serves as Chairman.
A technophile and entrepreneur to the core, Dayton led the WIFI charge as founder, Chairman, and CEO of Boingo, one of the first high-speed wireless ISPs. He currently serves as the CEO and a Director of Helio, an emerging next-generation mobile phone company formed as a joint venture between EarthLink and SK Telecom, Korea's leading wireless carrier. He also serves on the Board of the United States Ski and Snowboard Association. Dayton's solid entrepreneurial track record, from startup to success, has and will continue to benefit Surfparks as it navigates previously uncharted waters. Pun intended.
