Aquatic Development Group is comprised of seven affiliated companies focused on the equipment manufacture, facility design, and construction of Commercial Aquatic Facilities and Waterparks. ADG products and services have been used in more than 3,000 public, scholastic, collegiate, institutional, and leisure aquatic facilities worldwide. Recent major projects include design/build of Six Flags Great Adventure Hurricane Harbor, Six Flags Great Escape Hurricane Harbor, DollyŐs Splash Country at Dollyworld, and the upcoming RandallŐs Island Aquatic Complex (including the Surfpark) in New York City.
Each of the seven ADG affiliates is recognized as the leading innovator in a specific segment of the aquatic industry. Several of these affiliates will be used in the design, development, and construction of Surfpark facilities. WaveTek will be responsible for manufacture and installation of the Groundswell wave systems. WaveTek dominates the wave-equipment field, with multiple patents, aggressive development resources, in-house manufacturing, and over 350 wave pool equipment installations worldwide (90% market share).
Other ADG affiliates utilized by Surfparks include Whitten (water filtration systems), and Aquatic Amusement Associates (planning, architecture, and engineering).
